"when you said nothing at all"

I got the CD yesterday from you as a gift ( thank you ). This song recalls me a lot the day we came back to each other, in a small coffee shop in a small alley, warm light, so quiet, it was only the rymth of rain outside... Do you still remember how sweet it was ? You were silent, but looked at your eyes, I thought you told me a lot from your true heart... and I did believe. It seemed like the whole world stop in every beat of my heart. Till now, I still convince myself that it was true even what have happened.

I always asked you to say in words what I wanted to hear. But today I understand during our best time you said it best when you said nothing at all.

When You Say Nothing At All

by Alison Krauss

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

But, in a real life ( not in a song, not in a romantic story ), said nothing mean nothing also.

Have you read "Why men don't listen and women can't read maps"?
